John W Percival has been working in archaeology since the early 1990s. After study archaeology and prehistory at the universities of Bournemouth and Sheffield John worked on a variety archaeological projects in Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Yorkshire Gloucestershire and London before returning to Norfolk in late 1996. From 1996 until John worked for Norfolk Archaeological Unit and its successors. From 2009 until 2017 John worked as a freelance archaeologist in East of England and beyond. Since 2017 Joh has worked for Norfolk County Council as a planning archaeologist.
